We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our clients team in Portsmouth. You will play an important role in keeping the site safe and compliant at all times.
Duties:
- Reactive maintenance from blocked toilets, door batteries replacement to fixing furniture and kitchen appliances.
- Waste management - putting bins out and getting them in as per schedule.
- Compliance checks.
- Test and checks - building check, low outlet flushing, emergency light test, plant room checks.
- Supporting the team on site.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in providing building fabric/building services repair and maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.
- A good team player and self-motivated
- Positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Basic O’ Level / GCSE Qualifications, technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ)
- Desirable: H&S, First Aid Qualifications, Legionella, H&S
Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30 (with a 1 hour lunch break per day)
37.50 hour working week
Salary:
£12.82 per hour - £16.41 per hour depending on skills and experience
