Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of double glazing, windows, doors, and conservatory roofs, serving the trade sector across the South. With ambitious growth plans aiming for a 40% turnover increase, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive our success forward.
As Sales Manager, you will lead and manage a team of 6 sales professionals — 4 estimators and 2 external business development managers —ensuring they meet their targets while delivering exceptional service to our trade customers.
Key Duties
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth targets
- Manage, mentor, and motivate the estimating and business development teams
- Drive new business growth while maintaining strong relationships with existing trade customers
- Oversee the quoting and estimating process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports and insights
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and customer experience
Skills and Knowledge
- 3-5 years of proven sales management experience within the double glazing, fenestration, construction, or building materials industry
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and performance management
- Ability to identify opportunities for growth and drive new business development
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Commercially aware, target-driven, and results-focused
Salary Package
- £30-35K + performance-based bonus (basic depending on experience)
