Key Responsibilities of this Senior Building Surveyor role:
- Lead and manage a range of building surveying projects from inception through to completion.
- Provide expert advice on building condition, defects, and compliance issues.
- Undertake detailed surveys and reports, ensuring high standards of service and accuracy.
- Manage client relationships and deliver technical solutions to meet their needs.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Work on commercial, residential, and public sector projects, delivering high-quality results.
Key requirements to be considered for the Senior Building Surveyor role:
- MRICS (or equivalent) Chartered Building Surveyor status.
- Demonstrable experience in building surveying within a consultancy environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad spectrum of building surveying services.
- Experience managing projects and clients, with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in using relevant software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
