Your new companyWe are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Team Manager to join a dynamic Adults Intermediate Care Team. This role is on a full-time interim basis. Your new roleThis role involves assessing individuals who have been discharged from acute hospital settings and require short-term services. The team operates in a fast-paced, responsive environment, demanding a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the CHC framework.

  • Collaborate with permanent Assistant Team Managers to support the Team Manager.
  • Provide day-to-day operational management to the team.
  • Attend Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
  • Conduct monthly supervisions and offer informal supervision as needed to staff, including locums.
  • Ensure adherence to legislation and policy, meeting expected time frames.

What you'll need to succeed

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the CHC framework.
  • Strong organisational and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • SWE Registered.
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • DBS on update service to ensure quick start.
