Test Development Engineer

Our client is looking for a Test Design Engineer who can analyse customer requirements to develop Analogue, Digital and Mixed Signal Test Platforms, including hardware and software design. Customer and supplier liaison associated with such activities.

Specific Duties

To develop, maintain and improve electrical testing for engineering characterization and pre-production test validation.
Test Software and hardware development and associated documentation based on customer requirements.
Demonstrate and maintain test result correlation with customer requirement specifications / datasheet
Streamline data gathering, storage and access to minimise effort required to generate required customer reports
Support product development and production testing
Analyse and create results, failure evaluations, process documentation and reports.
Providing engineering support on other test equipment as required.
Maintenance of hardware.
Ensure Test equipment is calibrated

Requirements
Minimum BSc in Electronics Engineering
AS9100 / Six Sigma Experience
Experience in microelectronic design and assembly
Experience in developing Test solutions for Analogue and/or Mixed Signal components on Automatic Test Equipment, ideally Credence D10 and/or ASLx, Teradyne Catalyst or Verigy 93k, or Unites/SZ M3000
Expertise in Semiconductor Test Methodology, including memory devices
Experience in EDA design software (Solidworks and Altium preferred)
Pascal, C, C++, Visual basic demonstrated hands-on programming experience
Hands on experience with operation and programming of test equipment
Must be self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and develop

Hours are Monday to Thursday 07.45am 4.45pm & Friday 07.45am 12.30pm.
