We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis to work on a major earthworks project. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced and collaborative team on a high-profile development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage site engineering activities on the earthworks project
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of earthworks operations
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
- Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer, with a strong background in earthworks or civil engineering
- Solid understanding of construction methods and techniques
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- A relevant engineering qualification (e.g. Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent)
- Knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental standards
