My client, a fast growing business in the Portsmouth area, are looking for a commercial finance analyse to support their expanding team. This role will undertake extensive finance modelling and analysis to support the wider business in key strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and improve financial models within Power Bi and Excel
  • Design and implement robust data models to enhance efficiency across the business
  • Collaborate and business partner across internal teams
  • Utilise advanced data analytics tools including Excel
  • Analyse and report on KPIs
  • Support on Ad Hoc financial analysis and modelling
  • Monitor and optimise data models

You will need:

  • 3-5 years experience within advanced finance and data modelling, financial analysis and reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills (inc macros, functions and pivot tables.
  • Accountancy qualification and understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to details,
  • Highly effective communication skills at all levels
