You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio, delivering tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients, especially large corporate groups. You will oversee & guide a team, while also supporting the delivery of high-quality tax advice and projects and regularly collaborate with Partners. Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring timely compliance and effective communication
  • Lead tax advisory projects and contribute to the development of tax planning strategies
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their development
  • Foster strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact for tax-related queries
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and deadlines, collaborating with internal departments to meet client needs
  • Support partners and senior managers with business development initiatives and client pitches

Profile

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification - QBE will be considered
  • Several years of experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and the ability to conduct complex tax research
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships and working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
