ROLE- Finance Manager

SALARY- 50,000- 60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Premier Engineering is seeking a Finance Manager to join a growing engineering company based in Portsmouth. This role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting business strategy through effective financial management.

The Finance Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (preferred)
  • Experience in a finance management role, ideally within manufacturing or engineering sectors
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Experience with Sage would be beneficial
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, financial compliance, and auditing processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team

The Finance Manager role will involve:
  • Managing financial planning, payroll, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Overseeing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Implementing and maintaining effective financial controls
  • Managing cash flow, cost control, and financial risk
