A large international business with offices near Portsmouth is recruiting a Financial Accounting Manager to manage a small team focussed on a specific accounting area. Working within the central accounting team the key deliverables of the Financial Accounting Manager are:-
  • Owning the accounting for the specific area, ensuring the application of best practice, process improvements, standardisation and effective controls.
  • Day to day team management.
  • Business partnering with stakeholders both internally and externally about the management and maintenance of ongoing leases.
  • Working within the capital investment team around capital expenditure proposals, overseeing the process to enable the successful delivery of the capex portfolio.
The ideal candidate for the Financial Accounting Manager will:
  • Be a technically strong qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Have experience of managing and developing a team.
  • Possess demonstrable experience of reviewing and improving processes.
