Portsmouth based independent accountancy firm with strong profitability, who have recently made an acquisition, seek an ambitious senior manager for a new role also key to succession planning. You will take on an established client portfolio, prove you can grow the business and be ready to step up to director in a 12-24 month period.
My client work on a hybrid basis but do want someone in the office 3 days a week to build relationships and network efficiently. You will be a qualified accountant and keen to join a firm that will offer you progression based on achievement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage 5 client Account Managers -WIP, fees and workflow reviews
- Assist managers with client technical questions
- Client meetings
- Involved in recruitment and staff development
- Manage own client portfolio - develop and build
- Business development
- Practice development - new service lines / opportunities in utilisation of AI
- No audit!!
- A key member of the senior management team
