Job Description:

Recruit UK is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join a successful Financial Planning firm in Portsmouth. Our client, a highly reputable and well-established Independent Financial Planning practice, is known for delivering exceptional financial advice to a diverse client base across the UK. Due to ongoing business expansion, they are seeking to add a skilled Paraplanner to their growing team. This is a fantastic chance for individuals with relevant experience to advance their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Research clients’ financial arrangements, analyse investment and client data.
  • Construct financial planning strategies and research financial product marketplace.
  • Produce financial planning reports.
  • Assist Financial Planners with preparation for client meetings.
  • Maintain compliant records.
  • Work as part of the team to deliver the highest level of client service.
  • Perform general office administration tasks as required and provide holiday cover.
  • Maintain and update back-office systems and platforms.

Skills and experience required:

  • Level 4 Diploma / or working towards this
  • Knowledge of Pensions, Investments, and Protection (essential).
  • Experience as a paraplanner completing reports, research, and working alongside financial advisers (essential).
  • Experience working with HNW clients and IHT planning
  • Good knowledge of Intelligent Office and Voyant systems
