We are seeking reliable and adaptable Daily Supply Teachers to join our team of teachers and support staff to begin your new journey after February Half Term. You should be flexible, enthusiastic, and capable of quickly adapting to different classroom environments and subjects to be considered as a Daily Supply Teacher. This role involves covering for regular teachers who are absent, ensuring continuity of learning, and maintaining a positive and effective classroom atmosphere.
As a Daily Supply Teacher in Portsmouth you should be able to:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and year groups.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and ensure curriculum continuity.
- Confidently manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of different students and classes.
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered.
- Support student's academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth transition and effective communication.
To work as a Daily Supply Teacher in the UK you need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and ideally recent teaching experience in the UK. You must be in Portsmouth and will also need an enhanced, child workforce DBS or should be willing to submit one.
