Key responsibilities as the Door Entry Engineerwill include:

  • Repairs and installation to include fault finding, programming, and commissioning of door entry systems across a variety of buildings where secured access is required.

What the company are looking for in their Door Entry Engineer:

  • City and Guilds in Electronic security systems
  • City and Guilds in Electronic principles (Desirable)
  • Automation to BS EN 16005 (Desirable)
  • 2 - 5 yrs. experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.
  • 3-5 yrs. experience in the Security industry.
  • Be able to demonstrate you are a competent engineer and have the tools to do the work.
  • Have the prerequisite technical, statutory, and legislative knowledge for the trades you perform for the company ensuring you keep abreast of updates and changes.
  • Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry.
  • Working with Videx and Tynetec Door entry systems.
  • Working with KMS and PAC Access systems
