We are looking for an HR Administrator to be the primary contact for HR activities at the site level, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of employees.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all site-level HR activities, including handling queries related to employment contracts, new starters, leavers, and role/shift changes.
  • Ensure accurate recording and confidential storage of employee HR/Payroll files and information.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and the plant management team to provide daily management support and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Champion employee well-being, promoting fair and consistent practices and a safe, open, and positive working environment.
  • Participate in team meetings, support managers with information sharing, and organize plant social events to enhance the working environment.
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation to ensure company compliance.
  • Provide administrative support for team meetings, health & safety committees, and manage documentation related to employee relations.
  • Oversee the plant's administrative needs, ensuring all operations align with company policies.
  • Manage the Right to Work and DBS checking processes, ensuring all employee statuses are accurately recorded and compliant.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, from liaising with the HR Resourcing team to producing contracts of employment for new starters.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in payroll and HR administration.
  • Strong understanding of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to guide and support managers and employees in understanding and adhering to HR policies and procedures.
