An exciting opportunity has arisen for an advanced or emergency practitioner (nurse OR paramedic) to join the team in a privately-run emergency treatment centre based in Portsmouth.

You will be a part of a friendly and experienced multidisciplinary team offering assessments, wound care and other treatments to patients presenting with minor injuries or illness, with the aim to discharge or transfer for further care.

About you:

  • You will be a caring, empathetic and professional nurse or paramedic with valid NMC / HCPC registration
  • Qualified to level 6 or above in in Minor Injuries / Illness + History Taking & Physical Assessment
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable but not required:

  • You DO NOT need a qualification in non-medical prescribing, however candidates holding this qualification will be eligible for a higher pay grades

Shifts:

  • We are happy to receive applications seeking full-time or part-time hours.
  • The UTC is open 365 days a year, including evenings and weekends *NO night work required
  • Long (12.5 hours) or short (7.5 hours) shifts are available or a mixture of the two.
