GSL are currently recruiting a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our mainstream primary schools in Portsmouth. You will be joining a friendly and supportive school who puts the child at the centre of everything that they do.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working under the guidance of an experienced teacher to help support children with their learning. Your other roles may include:
- Supporting children with 1:1 reading.
- Working with small groups of KS1 or KS2 children, through targeted interventions.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child can thrive and flourish.
- Supporting teachers in assessing student progress and providing informative feedback to pupils.
- Safeguarding will be your number one priority, ensuring the welfare of the children.
