An exciting new opportunity has arisen with a national, very well-established learning disabilities care providerto become Deputy Manager of their Supported Living service in Portsmouth. This is a single site with accomodation for around 30 adults in smart, modern, purpose built apartments.

You will have good experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs, with the ability to lead and motivate teams. Some of your time will be spent working closely with the team of support workers, using your experience to coach and inspire them, ensuring your clients have the best possible care, with the rest of your time spent on associated admin/management tasks.

Applications are welcomed from Team Leaders or Seniors with solid experience of working with people with learning disabilities, or equally candidates with existing experience at Deputy Manager level within other areas of care (home care, elderly residential etc) who are interested in working with adults withlearning disabilties will also be considered.

Very important is a true passion for providing quality care, and dedication to ensuring your clients have the best possible levels of support enabling them to lead the most independent and rewarding lives possible.

You will be one of two Deputy Managers, witha talented senior management team in place which ensures you will have support, mentoring and opportunities for personal and professional development. This also leads to a realistic chance for progression to registered manager/regional management and beyond.
