The are looking to recruit an Employee Support Coordinator to join their dedicated team in Portsmouth (on a hybrid basis). This role will be full time and a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Requirements

  • Must be confident in interacting with the board and producing reports.
  • Valid UK driving license with access to a car.
  • Proven management and organisational skills at mid-management or higher levels.
  • Experience interacting with mid-level and senior executives, directors, and non-executive directors.
  • Skilled in handling and resolving complex, sensitive issues with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Basic knowledge of Employment Law, Equality Act, and data protection.
  • Familiarity with HR policies and staff management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and presentations.

The Responsibilities

  • Support & Liaison: Serve as an empathetic and non-judgmental point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns and facilitating resolutions through phone or in-person meetings.
  • Issue Escalation: Promptly escalate safety and care issues as per agreed protocols, maintaining contact with involved parties to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Coordinate meetings between concerned employees and colleagues or senior staff as required, supporting the resolution of formal concerns.
  • Communication & Presentation: Present the service to staff groups regularly and maintain visibility within the organization. Deliver communication support as needed.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and contribute to service evaluations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of reports.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Handle data and information in accordance with GDPR and organizational policies, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Training & Development: Stay informed on developments in employment law, NHS policies, and company practices. Participate in training and contribute to team meetings.
