We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to provide essential support to our clients HR and recruitment functions. This role involves working closely with the HR Lead and the Director of People, ensuring high standards of accuracy and confidentiality. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our vision and values, making a significant impact on our operational excellence.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide HR Advisor support to the Director of People, HR Lead, Executive Team, and Principals as directed.
  • Manage and prioritise workload independently to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Handle the HR induction and new starter processes for all new staff.
  • Support staff absence management and ensure accurate recording of absence data.
  • Prepare and provide various HR-related letters and information, including adjustments in pay.
  • Be the first point of contact for staff regarding maternity/paternity leave and ensure accurate payroll information.
  • Maintain and update personal contact details and staff records on the Access system and the Single Central Record.
  • Assist in the preparation of letters and contracts for new and existing staff and manage staff exit processes.
  • Undertake exit interviews and maintain related logs and analyses.
  • Support recruitment processes and perform safer recruitment checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Personnel Practice or other relevant CIPD qualification, level 3, would be desirable.
  • Proven experience in an HR environment, preferably within an educational or trust setting.
  • Experience providing recruitment advice and HR support to line managers.
  • Strong understanding of safer recruitment processes.
  • High level of computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a confidential environment and maintain confidentiality.
