Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Portsmouth, UK On site/Hybrid

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week), 08:30 - 17:30

Holiday Allowance 22 days + Bank Holidays

Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer who can not only solve technical issues but also take part in project work and lead from the front. The successful candidate will be expected to be a role model for the up-and-coming service desk staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide second-line technical support to our client base

Manage and resolve incidents and requests submitted via telephone, email, and online

Participate in project work, implementing IT solutions and services

Deliver technical mentoring and coaching to 1st line support colleagues

Liaise with 3rd line support or external vendors when necessary

Ensure the smooth operation of client IT infrastructure

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in a 2nd line support role, must have experience in a MSP environment.

Strong knowledge of 365/Intune administration and SharePoint.

Heavy experience networking configuration.

Experience with Windows endpoint management and Intune.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.

Must have a full driving licence and car
