Job Description:

Furture Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Civils Supervisor/Manager to oversee multiple utilities projects within the Southern Framework, covering sites primarily in Hampshire, with occasional projects in Surrey and West Sussex. This role involves managing up to 5 gangs of operatives across several small to medium-sized in-ground electrical utility projects, including HV (High Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Supervision: Manage and coordinate up to 5 gangs of operatives across multiple sites, ensuring smooth operation of electrical utility projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Utilities Experience: Utilise your experience in HV/LV systems to guide and support teams, ensuring all electrical utility installations are compliant with industry standards.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and personnel across several sites to optimise efficiency and productivity.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure all work adheres to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Communication: Liaise withsite staff, clients, and contractors, to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Civils Supervisor/Manager role within the utilities sector, preferably on electrical utility projects.
  • Good understanding of HV/LV (High Voltage/Low Voltage) systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple gangs and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Full UK driving license.
