Warehouse Supervisor - Portsmouth
Location: PortsmouthSalary: Up to £30,000Hours: 42.5 per week (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM)
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support our Warehouse Manager for one of our clients based in Portsmouth.
In this role, you will work for a builder’s merchant, overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, coordinating deliveries, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring efficiency and safety
Responsibilities:
- Lead and train warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Oversee stock management, deliveries, and replenishment of 1,000+ building and repair materials.
- Work with suppliers and departments to resolve operational issues.
- Maintain security and accurate records of materials.
- Perform administrative duties (e.g., invoices, stock orders).
Requirements:
- Warehouse Supervisor experience.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of stock systems, Excel, and Outlook.
- Full clean driving licence.
