Position: Mobile Fabric Technician
Location: Portsmouth - High street Stores
Salary: 25,000 - 35,000
About the Role:
My client are a large Facilities Maintenance company seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Fabric Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Mobile Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing fabric elements across high street stores in Portsmouth. This will include plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical & mechanical tasks. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from 25,000 to 35,000.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct PPM's and maintenance in various high street stores.
- Perform repairs and installations of fabric elements including painting & decorating
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Identify and diagnose issues promptly, providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with management and other technicians to ensure minimal disruption to store operations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabric Technician or similar role.
- NVQ or City & Guilds trade certificate - Highly desired
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of fabric maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations in Portsmouth.
