Office Administrator, Portsmouth, Full Time, Permanent

This role will be supporting a busy Project Manager who will be travelling between sites in the UK and Europe. You'll be ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services, as well as ensuring that the Project Manager has everything they need for their travels and this could include anything from booking flights, to sorting out evening entertainment for clients.

Your ability to think critically, problem-solve, and collaborate effectively will be instrumental in achieving goals and contributing to project success.

Your Role:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
  • Connecting with suppliers to gather information about new products and technologies
  • Provide day to day administrative support to the Project Manager
  • Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure they meet needs, budget and project timescales
  • Handle import/export operations, coordinating the movement of goods seamlessly
  • Communicate delivery schedules and proactively address any potential delays

Your Experience:

  • Prior experience in Procurement is a plus, but not required - they offer full training!
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude, always seeking ways to improve.
  • Strong office administration skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Great communication and organisational skills, even when under pressure.
  • Confidence in using computers and proficiency in Google and MS Office tools.
