Contract Outline:
Role: Project Manager
Sector: Water
Location: Portsmouth area (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35: Outside
Rate: 50 - 59.85ph
Role Overview:
Responsible for delivering projects in the water/wastewater industry on the Southern and Thames Water frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage 10-15 project of 30k - 150k value at any one time.
- Ensuring all projects follow the full project lifecycle, are fully tested, delivered on time, to budget and agreed specification/standards, and reviewed for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness, by examining, negotiating, and overseeing contracts with both customers and subcontractors.
- Responsible for maintaining good working relationships with our existing customer and supplier accounts.
Essential Skills:
- Understanding of the full project life cycle, with demonstrable experience.
- Experience with software controls projects / a system integration environment.
- Experience of delivering projects, preferably PLC/SCADA in the water sector.
- Commercial and contract management experience a bonus.
- Excellent time management skills and be able to demonstrate a structure and methodical approach to workload.
