Senior Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded main contractor on an upcoming project in Portsmouth. The contractor has a national presence and is now looking to expand into the South of England having recently tendered work in the area. They undertake projects across the industrial, commercial and mixed-use residential projects valuing up to 75mil.

About this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing the project through the pre-construction phase and manage whilst on site. You will have an Assistant Quantity Surveyor reporting into you and you will be reporting into the visiting Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Key responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Involvement in pre-construction activities
Procure and manage sub-contract packages
Undertake monthly CVR's
Submit financial reports to the board
Liaise with the client throughout the build process

Key requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:

Experience managing projects valued up to 45mil
Strong working knowledge of JCT / NEC forms of contract
Experience managing industrial projects is beneficial but not essential
Live within commutable distance to Portsmouth
Have the full right to work in the UK
