Job Description:Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Family Support Workers and Children/Young People Support Workers to join our growing team. As a leading recruitment agency within the health and social care sector, we aim to provide high-quality support to families, children, and young people in various settings. Key Responsibilities:路 Provide practical and emotional support to children, young people, and families in need. 路 Offer guidance and advice to families to help them overcome challenges and improve their well-being. 路 Work closely with children and young people to help develop coping strategies and enhance their emotional, mental, and social development. 路 Collaborate with external agencies, such as social services, schools, and healthcare providers, to ensure the best outcomes for individuals. 路 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, progress, and case plans. 路 Promote safeguarding and ensure the safety and welfare of children and young people at all times.

Essential Requirements:路 A minimum of 1 years experience working with children or within the health and social care sector. 路 An enhanced adult and child DBS check that is on the update service. 路 Ability to provide 3 years worth of professional references. 路 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and compassionate approach. 路 Experience of working in a team and independently. 路 A proactive and empathetic attitude, with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:路 Qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 2 or 3). 路 Experience working in a family support or childrens services setting. 路 Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
