Senior Carer / Team Leader Community Care
Our client, a respected provider of community care services, is seeking an experienced Senior Carer / Team Leader to support and supervise their team in delivering high-quality care to clients in their own homes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in community or domiciliary care whos ready to advance their career with both office-based and community responsibilities.

Package:
- Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
- Full-time contract (37.5 hours per week), with a mix of office-based and community work
- Pool car available for work purposes

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist management in supervising and supporting staff across the community care service
- Mentor team members, providing ongoing support and coaching to align their work with company standards
- Conduct client visits and perform spot checks, ensuring care plans reflect current needs and quality standards
- Complete general administrative tasks, both in the office and the field, as required
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practices
- Participate in an on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage for clients
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a valid UK driving licence and has their own transport
- Seeks a full-time role with shift flexibility, including every other weekend
- Has prior experience in care and is confident in supervising or leading a team
- Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (equivalent experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications)
- Possesses strong organisational and administrative skills
- Familiar with the local area and committed to supporting the community
- Reliable, hardworking, and a team player who can also work independently
