About the Marine Manufacturing Project Manager role:

We are now recruiting for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Marine industry, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple system projects, ensuring the delivery of top-quality technical solutions and services.

You will be involved in electro-technical projects, such as modifications, upgrades, and repairs, providing tailored solutions for cabling, machinery, and associated equipment.

You will also lead a team of engineers, ensuring efficient project delivery while maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

In addition to this, as our Marine Manufacturing Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget, in line with industry standards.
  • Defining project guidelines, allocating tasks, and overseeing the documentation of project progress and financial records.
  • Serving as the primary contact for clients, ensuring timely project updates, managing client expectations, and addressing any project-related issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 procedures and all company policies and practices.
  • Managing personnel resources, communicate effectively, and drive efficiency improvements across teams.
  • Overseeing resource acquisition, vendor negotiations, and evaluate project profitability to identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing regular updates on project performance and revenue generation in meetings to highlight successes and address challenges.

In addition to this you should have experience as / in the following:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the Marine industry.
  • Previous experience in a similar Project Management
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook.
  • Strong familiarity with maritime rules, regulations, best practices, and industry performance standards, including working with Class.
  • Proven project management and supervision skills, with a keen ability to oversee multiple aspects of project delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required to attend vessel surveys and oversee site work.
