Job Description
We seek a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Trailer Technician to join a busy transport department in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in vehicle maintenance, with training and career development provided.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of trailers under the supervision of experienced technicians
Conducting safety inspections and reporting defects
Learning to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out basic repairs and replacements of components
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in line with health and safety regulations
Keeping the workshop clean and organized
Requirements
Experience in mechanics and vehicle maintenance
- Someone with a background in mechanics/vehicle engineering/fabrication would be an ideal candidate
Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical systems (preferred but not essential)#

* 25k - 35K (DEO)
