A busy Transport & Logistics Recruitment agency is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Manager with excellent account management experience to join its talented team based in Potters Bar.

Candidates with a knowledge of the Transport & Logistics recruitment sector including HGV and warehouse recruitment will be given priority consideration.

About the Role

Experience of sales would be good, but what is important for us is a positive attitude and the willingness to become a key player within a short space of time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supported by a small team of Account Support Executives, you will be responsible for delivering the staffing requirements of a number of key blue chip accounts.
  • The role will include making daily calls and establishing staff numbers with client transport & logistics staff.
  • Recruiting and filling vacancies including growing and managing staff pools
  • Maintaining compliance requirements and ensuring time sheets are submitted on time for the payroll team to deliver weekly pay slips to staff.

Key Requirements

  • You will have the skills and experience to grow your desk by working closely with key clients, agency staff and your team
  • You will have the ability to follow a process and have excellent time management skills.
  • You must have strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with candidates and clients; coupled with high levels of customer service.
  • A strong business acumen is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets and other business/recruitment software packages such as JoinedUp, Indeed or Broadbean will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of candidate lead generation techniques and social media to grow candidate pools desirable.
  • 1 years experience preferably within Transport & Logistics and Industrial sector.
  • Great staff management skills
  • Full Clean Driving License.
