Reed Education is seeking a dynamic RE Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This position is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Religious Education to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous but not essential.
  • Utilise strong classroom management skills to create a supportive and structured learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
  • Implement strategies to cater to a range of educational needs and abilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students and staff to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Recent and relevant experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to be an excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge.
  • Reliable, committed, and capable of acting as a good role model displaying qualities such as compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be punctual, patient, and confident when working with children.
