Are you a proactive leader with expertise in planning and stock control? We are looking for an experienced Planning and Stock Control Manager to take ownership of our materials, inventory, and production planning systems to ensure optimal efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead the team to ensure safe and efficient operations, following company procedures, food safety, and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure FIFO procedures are followed. Address any stock discrepancies.
  • Production Planning: Create weekly and monthly production plans based on capacity, labour, and stock levels, minimizing waste and stock obsolescence.
  • Stock Availability: Monitor stock to ensure production and packing schedules are met, ensuring on-time and full deliveries (OTIF).
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work with purchasing teams to meet stock requirements and improve supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Capacity Planning: Manage capacity plans to meet seasonal demand and minimize production delays.
  • KPI Management: Track departmental KPIs and report performance to senior management and the Board.

Skills and Experience:

  • IOSH Managing Safely, HACCP Level 3, and Food Safety Level 3 certifications (preferred).
  • Proven experience in planning, stock control, and inventory management within a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, or similar) and inventory management tools.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and the ability to drive improvements in cost, efficiency, and stock accuracy.
