Our client is a glazing specialist across the North Wes. Known for delivering innovative faade and glazing solutions across the commercial, residential, and public sectors, they are growing rapidly and now seek a skilled and motivated Estimator to support their expanding project portfolio.
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, producing accurate and competitive estimates for a range of architectural glazing and faade projects.
Responsibilities:
Analyse architectural drawings, tender documents, and specifications.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for curtain walling, windows, doors, and bespoke glazing systems.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing.
Contribute to bid submissions with clear and professional documentation.
Identify value engineering opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
Attend site visits and client meetings as required.
About You:
2+ years' experience in estimating within the architectural glazing, faades, or building envelope sectors.
Strong knowledge of curtain walling systems and aluminium glazing packages.
Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
Commercially aware and detail-oriented.
