Michael Page are looking for a Financial Controller to join a fantastic organisation based in Birkenhead. The organisation does amazing work across the area and is known as a great place to work.

They are a fantastic, values led place to work and offer excellent benefits including 10% pension and hybrid working. You will report directly into the CEO and lead a small team. This is a great all-round Financial Controller role where you will be able to make a real positive difference.

Description

  • Leading the financial management and strategic planning for the organisation
  • Ensure that the financial resources are effectively managed
  • Oversee all financial operations, compliance and audit process
  • Provide leadership to the finance team
  • Support exec leadership with financial insights and advising on financial strategy
  • Prepare financial statements, management accounts, cash flow and performance reports
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and manage financial policies and procedures

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A full Accountancy Qualification
  • Managed budgets, produced forecasts and financial reports
  • Used financial systems previously
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Worked with stakeholders previously
