Accounts Administrator / AssistantLocation: Office-based, WallaseyHours: Full-time, 35 hours per weekSalary: Circa £26,000 per annum

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Administrator / Assistant to join our dynamic team. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills.Specific Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue redemption figures, coordinating with the Portfolio Manager as necessary.
  • Attend weekly Credit Control meetings.
  • Post and reconcile transactions using Xero accounting software from company bank statements.
  • Monitor rents and loan payments.
  • Post journal entries accurately.
  • Prepare accounts up to trial balance (TB).
  • Attend necessary weekly or quarterly meetings.
  • Provide year-end Xero reports to accountants for the preparation of financial statements.
  • Provide self-assessment spreadsheet information to accountants at year-end.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks such as archiving, filing loan statements, and preparing Companies House confirmation statements.

Other Duties:

  • Support the Company Accountant and Accounts Team with all accounting requirements.
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager with redemption processes.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required.

  • Exceptional numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
