We’re representing one of the leading training & apprenticeship provider for Adult Care, Healthcare & Early Years training. Role: Adult Care Trainer Experience Required: No prior teaching/training experience is needed, our client will provide you with all the tools and support needed to become a qualified trainer What you could be doing now: You may be working as a Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Senior Carer. Location: home based with travel around Liverpool and the surrounding areas (candidates must drive and have their own vehicle) Salary: Starting salary of £27,000 The RoleAs an Adult Care Vocational Trainer, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home and also get the chance to hit the road and visit different sites within your region to meet your learners face to face. It's a balanced mix! You'll typically spend around 2-3 days per week at these sites, and here's the best part: you'll have the freedom to arrange your own work schedule. Here's what your daily duties will look like:
  • Coaching and supporting your apprentices throughout their course, guiding them on their learning journey and providing them with the support they need to succeed.
  • You'll kick things off by carrying out enrolments and initial assessments with your learners, making sure you understand their individual learning needs from the get-go.
  • Delivering a blend of virtual and face-to-face sessions with your apprentices and their employers, travelling to different employer sites and workplaces throughout your region.
  • Helping your learners advance through their qualifications using a variety of methods, including careful observation, assessing their work products, gathering written evidence, and engaging in professional discussions.
  • Keeping things organised is key. You'll make sure all the regulatory and financial information for each apprentice is accurate and properly maintained.

  • Demonstrable experience in an Adult Care setting, with experience of working at a supervisory level, you’ll also need a sound understanding of the Care Act and CQC requirements
  • A Level 3, or 5 qualification in Adult Care (or similar)
  • Administration is a significant aspect of this role, so having good computer literacy is essential.
