We work exclusively with over 65% of Primary Schools in the area, they use Hays supply service for Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants very heavily. Your new roleWe are currently supporting a Wirral Primary School who are looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their school after the February half-term break. The role will consist of working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant supporting a pupil with Autism. You will be carrying out targeted interventions and supporting them with adapted lesson plans which have been carefully tailored to their needs. An understanding of or experience supporting SEND is essential for this role, particularly an understanding of Autism with a focus on speech and language. This role will be term time only, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm with the opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract.
