Based in Birkenhead this role will be a hybrid role with 2 days from the office per week.
This opportunity is ideal for a part qualified or QBE Accountant looking for a hands on Finance Manager role within a fast paced organisation.
Salary/benefits:
- £35-40,000pa
- Hybrid Working (2 office, 3 from home)
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the effective delivery of the key outputs of the Finance function.
- Preparation of monthly and year board packs & P&L Forecasting
- Setting and control of all annual overhead's budgets
- Develop and control the company's annual budgeting process, linked to the 3-year business plan model
- Oversee the preparation of the company's financial statements and reporting both monthly and annually
- Ensure there is an effective internal audit program in place covering financial operations and controls
- Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of the company's finances
- Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial &, taxation, obligations
- Cashflow forecasting
- Manage credit risk and support Credit Controller on more complex credit requests
Required Attributes / Experience
- Part Qualified / QBE Accountant
- Previous experience in year-end focused Financial Accountant role
- Strong excel skills, including the ability to work with bulk data/system exports and select appropriate formula where needed.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills at all levels in the business.
- Self-starter with a desire to work hard.
