Your new companyHays Education are supporting a Wirral primary school as they are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable higher-level teaching assistant to support within year 6 on a temporary full-time basis. This is an ongoing role that will last until the end of the academic year.Your new roleAs well as offering general classroom support, in the absence of the class teacher and PPA, you will deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils within year 6. You will also support with small group interventions, particularly in the run-up to SATs.This is a full-time role supporting 8.30am-3.30pm Monday-Friday.What you'll need to succeed
- Recent experience supporting in an HLTA role, particularly covering PPA
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Confidence to deliver pre-planned work
