Maintenance Operative - Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance/Gardener to ensure our property is well-maintained, visually appealing, and safe. The ideal candidate will have experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, and general site maintenance. This role involves maintaining grass, shrubs, and plants, as well as performing minor repairs and upkeep tasks around the site.
Maintenance Operative - Key Responsibilities:
- Gardening & Groundskeeping:
- Maintain a neat appearance across the site
- Plant, prune, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Weed, fertilize, and remove leaves, debris, and litter from outdoor areas.
Maintenance Operative - General Maintenance:
- Inspect and maintain pathways, fences, and outdoor furniture.
- Conduct minor repairs, including painting, fixing broken fixtures, and general handyman tasks.
- Keep outdoor areas, including car park and walkways, clean and well-maintained.
- Monitor equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any major maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Maintenance Operative - Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, and common gardening tools.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and general site upkeep.
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment.
