Your new companyHays Education are working with a school in the Wirral, to source a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This will be a full-time role on a long term basis starting as soon as possible. Your new roleThis role will include the following:
- Working with an SEN pupil with Autism
- Support with work inside and outside the classroom
- Supporting 1:1 and in groups
- Managing behaviour
- Supporting the class teacher
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in your application, you will need the following:
- A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience with SEN - specifically autism
- Experience within a school environment - references needed
- A full DBS on the update service or documents to apply for one
- Confident with behaviour management
- Confident supporting with class work such as maths and English
