Your new companyHays Education are working with a school in the Wirral, to source a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This will be a full-time role on a long term basis starting as soon as possible. Your new roleThis role will include the following:

  • Working with an SEN pupil with Autism
  • Support with work inside and outside the classroom
  • Supporting 1:1 and in groups
  • Managing behaviour
  • Supporting the class teacher

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in your application, you will need the following:

  • A level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience with SEN - specifically autism
  • Experience within a school environment - references needed
  • A full DBS on the update service or documents to apply for one
  • Confident with behaviour management
  • Confident supporting with class work such as maths and English
