Your new CompanyHays Education supports secondary schools in the Wirral area. We are looking for recent graduates who want to kick-start their teaching career, by getting some experience in a teaching assistant role, to join our team. Your new roleThe role will involve supporting KS3 and KS4 classes around the Wirral. It will include supporting the class teacher, group work and 1:1 work with SEN children. This role starts from January and can be flexible, e.g. day-day bookings/long-term contracts. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS/Documents to apply for one as well as:
- Experience working with children where references can be obtained, e.g. sports coach/after-school clubs/brownies lead etc.
- Confident supporting students with Maths and English amongst other subjects
- Ability to take both 1:1 and group work
- Strong communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team and following instructions
