Your new companyHays Education are supporting a secondary school in th Wirral as they are looking to recruit an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join them on a long term basis, 5 days per week. Your new roleIn your new role in the school, you will be supporting SEN pupils. . You will be working alongside the class teacher to help deliver curriculum effectively, working 1:1 with SEN pupils and also taking some group work. This role starts ASAP.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered in your application, you must have full 'Right to work' in the UK as well as:

  • 1+ years experience working with children with SEN needs
  • Confident supporting students with maths and English amongst other subjects
  • Be able to offer 1:1 and group sessions supporting SEN pupils
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
  • Strong relationship building skills
