About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored education to students with a variety of learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and Complex Needs.
Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and delivering lesson plans based on individual student needs and abilities.
- Teaching in line with the P Scales and using adaptive techniques to engage all learners.
- Establishing strong, supportive relationships with pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
- Managing classroom behavior through proactive and inclusive strategies.
- Assisting with personal care tasks where necessary, in a respectful and supportive manner.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Must have the right to work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship).
- A current Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Previous UK-based experience working in an SEN setting is required.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Able to start immediately and commit to full-time hours.
- Availability from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
