Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the MOPS team at Whiston Hospital. This role involves providing specialized physiotherapy services to patients in medical, orthopaedic, and post-surgical wards, helping them achieve optimal recovery and regain independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver physiotherapy interventions for patients in the MOPS pathway.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Implement evidence-based treatments to support recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Contribute to discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and students as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy with HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience in acute hospital settings, ideally within medical, orthopaedic, or surgical specialities.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
