Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:          Extra Care Scheme Housing Assistant  

Location:         Knowsley – Merseyside

Rate:                £17.71p/h (PAYE including Holiday Pay) or £20.15 (Umbrella equivilant)

Hours:             25 hours p/week

Length:            5 Weeks with chance of extensinon 

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Delivering a person centred, housing related support to tenants residing in a large and busy 64 unit apartments and 26 bungalows withing Extra Care scheme setting 
  • Delivering health and wellbeing activities, manning a busy reception desk and dealing with any tenant queries and supporting people with logging repairs 
  • Signposting and/or supporting tenants to access external specialised support services when needed
  • Directly supporting tenants to manage or maintain their own tenancies whist ensuring buildings are safe
  • Performing safety compliance checks in buildings and tenants’ homes

 The successful candidate will need to have an Enhanced DBS in place already and be able to start within 1 week notice
