Who are we?

Next energy is an installation company that was founded in 2016. Within such a short period of time, we have grown from a company with a work force of 4 employees in a small office in Kirkby, to now onto our 3rd office with over 140 directly employed staff! And recently the holders of the National renewable heat installer & contractor of the year. We were notified that we have delivered the highest number of LAD measures in the UK along side the Liverpool city region. We offer a range of services such as: Gas boiler replacements, external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, underfloor insulation, loft insulation, cavity walls, solar panels, and air source heat pumps.


What we want

We are looking for a compliance manager with experience in a similar role to lead our compliance department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Accreditation renewals, ensuring that we are prepared for all renewals and meeting with auditors where appropriate.

Working with the management team to ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and reviewed regularly.

Completing internal audits for the business procedures to ensure they are being followed or to help identify any gaps within the processes.

Ensure all subcontractors are fully onboarded before starting work with the company and to review the supply chain regularly to confirm they are meeting the correct standards.

Monitor any changes in regulations, such as building regulations, and work with the senior management team to update policies and procedures accordingly.

Educating all employees, where relevant, on the regulations that affect the business to help them understand the reasons behind our policies and procedures.

Ensuring the business is compliant with GDPR and dealing with requests such as SARs if they come in.


The successful candidate will have:

Experience dealing with GDPR for businesses

A knowledge of risk management principles

An aptitude for strategic thinking

Have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organisations skills
