My client, a global organisation is looking for a recent computer science or ecientific graduate to start their career in an IT Application Support role.
Role: Application Support Analyst - Application support for business applications (LIMS) in a scientific company, serving 600 global users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Application system support for bespoke LIMS applications
- Maintain knowledge base articles
- Investigate and document defects
- Support incident and problem management
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues
- Configure lab instrument integrations with LIMS
- Create scheduled tasks for report distribution
- Run user audit reports
Requirements:
- Degree (high grade) in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Technology
- A keen scientific AND technology interest
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities
Desirable:
- Experience in metals and minerals industry
- SQL Querying
- Basic JavaScript knowledge
- Spanish business proficiency
